First and foremost, I am proud to be the mother of 2 amazing sons who have taught me some of life’s greatest lessons.
Second, I am proud of my accomplishments as a woman in a traditionally male-dominated field. I worked hard throughout my career, and had to be better and brighter than my male counterparts in order to succeed. I learned to persevere and to be extremely self-reliant. I embraced the concept of “fake it til you make it,” and to develop my technical skills and capabilities in order to be taken seriously. I accomplished a leadership role early on in my career when, at the time, I didn’t feel I deserved it; but, thankfully, others believed in me. I actually wanted to be prematurely grey, to give me an older and wiser appearance, but now, I’m not so happy about that! Along the same lines, I have continuously been drawn to provide mentorship to other women over the years whose struggles to get ahead deeply resonate with my own experiences.
Lastly, I am extremely happy about the deep client relationships I have developed over the years. I have prided myself in their loyalty to me as they have put their personal trust in my ability to deliver the best possible outcomes and solutions for their needs. |
