C&W has one of the most interesting growth stories in our industry. How has our recent momentum made an impact on your role or created opportunities for you?
Having been involved — in a roundabout way — with the growth story of C&W, it has been very interesting and has resulted in a much better platform for my capital markets focus. This has led to considerably more opportunities as I connect with members of C&W from around the country and world. As a member of the Board for 12 years as CTMT morphed into Cassidy Turley and then DTZ, it has been a great learning experience. It’s also been wonderful to be involved in something that has turned out to be such a great C&W organization.
What solution, achievement or moment are you most proud of while either working at Cushman & Wakefield, or in your personal life?
From a professional standpoint, I’m most proud of being a part of the Board that made the decision at CTMT to move on and start a new company (Cassidy Turley), with the intent that this would be the first step in an adventure that we did not know how it would end. Our goal was to be a part of an international company — and it came to fruition!
I’m also proud to have had the opportunity to work with and get to know so many people from all over the country. I remain friends with so many people from my entire career, long after I have left CTMT, CBRE and Cassidy Turley. They respect me for what I have accomplished in my chosen field, but more importantly, are my friends.

Personally, I’m very proud to have had the privilege to raise 6 kids, participate in most of their activities as they grew up, be happily married for 32 years, and dedicate time to continuously be successful in this industry.
